Love this place its fireeee, the gallo pinto has pieces of asada in it very very good. The Carne asada plate has the gallo pinto salad the pickled onions chilero, big o piece of fried cheese yummy yummy tajadas maduros sweet plantains and of course the Carne asada. The mixta plate is huge it includes chicken and pork also. The cacao is sweet and concentrated I took it home and watered it down a bit and made two portions out of it. The lines get long quick. But so Worth it they set up at 5pm Thursday thru Sunday. Thursday and Fridays are easier lines than the weekends. But like I said worth it. The people are nice also. Loved it if you want to try Nicaraguan food go here. Enjoy

Someone told my boyfriend (he's from Nicaragua) about this spot. It's a bit far from us, but we were nearby yesterday and decided to finally try it! Happy we did. The portions are pretty big! Definitely worth the price. We both got fritanga de asada. And some enchiladas. One cacao that was very yummy. I do wish they had a menu to make ordering easier, or maybe I just didn't see one posted. The chilero is ufff!! Spicy & good! The beef had that delicious Nicaraguan sazón. Only thing is that the maduro from my fritanga needed more cooking or maybe it just wasn't ready yet. But the staff is nice & they helped us find a spot to sit & eat. Definitely recommend.

Lo mejor en comida Nicaragüense y lo mejor en todo Excelente servicio que cuenta con delibery y sobre todo el trato del personal es muy bueno

Best fritanga in LA county! I love this place, I go almost every weekend. They are so friendly, is always nice to go there. The food is delicious, the pitaya (dragon fruit) juice is soooo good, not to mention the carne asada, definitely my favorite!

The best Nicaraguan food in the inner city (Compton). We've been coming here for a couple of months now. Since we first heard that they were not too far of a drive. We haven't tried placing an order via social media yet. We've been here 5 times and plan to come more. They are clean. The food is PACKED... it's worth the money. You can see they work hard. The family is very nice. The lines get incredibly long. On Thursdays and Fridays they are on the street in front of NorthGate on Atlantic/Alondra/Compton Bl. On Saturday and Sundays they are on Willowbrook. They usually start at 6pm. They do run out fast so most times they are done way before 10pm. Try the fritanga mixto (chicken, carne asada, pork, ribs, platano, gallo pinto, banana chips, queso Frito) . The slaw isn't much but maybe I'm thankful lol because some places give you so much cabbage slaw and no food. The Chilero is good and spicy. The hubby loves the Cocoa. I love the fried cheese. You can find them under their name on TikTok and Instagram. Wherever they serve it's a family party vibe.
